I would love to put it off but the task manager, Sofie won’t hear of it.
Task Manager...is feeling anxious

I had a new project that I was originally going to upload and discuss. A new storage solution that would make yet another dent in all the clutter in my apartment.
But as is my usually custom I was going through my blog reader checking for updates from my ‘mentors’.
Zen habits is one of my favorite sites. It has been a source of guidance to my own creative soul.
Today was a thoughtful entry about the defeat of burning out. I recognized my own weary failures and decided I would postpone my own blog.
I am off to go play in my work area and hopefully get back on track.
Read his article and enjoy the day:
How to defeat burnout and stay motivated

I’m always the last one to know about these things…I’m no longer a movie nerd who keeps up to date with all the movie news but here goes, the best trailers I’ve seen all day:

Quantum Of Solace

Although this one fulfills my morbid fascination:

The Day the Earth Stood Still

Just saw this on Abbie Christie’s blog it blows my mind!

I love this movie.

Okay I havent added anything to this blog in a long time since I am still trying to function without a functioning computer.
I have been longing to sit down at my sewing machine and create birds and start working on a quilt that I had promised to start this summer I have been trying to rid myself of a pernicious cold I received from my mom…only to give the sickness to my brother. So the sewing machine placed in the kitchen is untouched.
I just found this project and already I feel antsy to make one for myself.

And now I there’s embroidery contests that just make me long to have a proper needle in my hands.
The problem before me is that I long to work on my sewing projects but there is no space to do them and it seems rude to make a whole lot of racket in the kitchen while my sick brother recuperates on the living room couch.
I just don’t know what to do with myself.

Sewing Stars is so adorable that I could just squeal with joy!

I am dying to make that broccoli!!!

I love this blog. I intend to make this as soon as humanly possible. Maybe after my headache dissipates…

I will maybe augment the template a little give them a little more height and a lot more gut. A majestic pigeon would look good in my apartment.

This blog is quite the find.
