I’ve been working on a pair of “rib-i-licious” fingerless gloves. Fisherman’s rib to be exact. One half is already completed the second is already on double pointed needles.
In light of that I have to get back to work I merely took a break to catch up on a blog or two.

One of my favorite places for inspiration is Mr. Xstitch’s blog on all things embroidery. It can be startling how innovative a single stitch can be in the hands of an artist.
Today I saw a post with some of the works of Marine Beloir. Wow.
But I got to tell you that my favorite of her works, that he mentions, would have to be the cuddly nerds, she refers to them as,
Inglorious & Nerdy Basterds. (wonderfully brilliant)

Visit her flickr for more of her work.

More from my favorite web comic, thank you Natalie Dee for making the web awesome!

Just completed a skinny new scarf. Its got a check pattern going on (basket weave gone wild). I took a quick snap of the completed scarf but I clearly need to take another shot of it under sunlight. My trusty old desk lamp alters the color of the wool.
But for now this will have to do.
