I love my neighborhood Trader Joe’s. But no matter how many times I go there I am always leaving with a paper bag in hand. Never purposely. I try to remember to bring a bag with me. Sometimes I forget but most times I end up with an overflowing bag in one hand and a half empty paper bag in the other.
In my kitchen there are two shelves and one drawer that are completely devoted to storing these paper bags.
I realized I could kill two birds with one stone I could unite my bag clutter with my fabric stash. My clutter evolved into cute envelope inspired storage.

Cute and practical. Besides any time with a glue gun is time well spent.
I haven’t been as happy with my work area for a long time. I was given these great wire rack things that were supposed to help me organize all my supplies. It was a great thought. Not helpful at all.
It was a reminder of all the clutter and left me dejected.
So Saturday I had some fun destroying old cardboard boxes and building some cardboard storage.

My desk is so much more inviting. I think the simple fact that I am surrounded by completed projects gives me that little kick that I need to get through the day.
The little tray above evolved from some spare cardboard and a few scraps of fabric.
So this was all a reminder that destruction can be fun. It was for me.
